Yes, we have gone all high tech at Cafe Bar One and At Your Place and have launched our new website. Thanks to the guys at C&C Design and our ex-waiter, John Wood, and his photography skills, we are very pleased with the final product. Our cafe eat in and takeaway menus are all here, along with our corporate and social outside catering details. We will be updating the website on a regular basis with news items such as this. Our Outside Catering is going great guns!
At Your Place, the outside catering side of Cafe Bar One, has set off to a great start. We now have some regular corporate clients as well some of our regular cafe clients taking Cafe Bar One to ‘their place’ and using us for parties and celebrations. If you would like more information about At Your Place Corporate and Social caterers, just take a look at this website! Alternatively, we are very flexible so just contact us with a the type of event you are having, an idea of numbers, an approximate budget and we’ll create a menu for you. It couldn’t be easier. Calling all Vegetarians!
As our regulars will know, we cater well for our non meat-eating customers. As well as a number of meat free sandwiches, ciabattas, bagels and breakfast items, our specials board is always a winner. Our homemade soup and quiche is always vegetarian and we always have our vegetarian dish of the day. This can range from a thai curry to our very popular aubergine, sweet potato and peanut African stew. You don’t have to be a vegetarian to enjoy our veggie delights!
Child Friendly at Cafe Bar One
Children are always welcome at Cafe Bar One. We have a dedicated childrens’ menu which includes all our sandwiches in mini size, soup, homemade pie and vegetables and the popular Kids Breakfast. We also offer a Kids Cottage Pie, made from Northumberland beef, lots of hidden vegetables and not a single artificial colouring, preservative, additive or hydrogenated fat in sight. Just good honest homemade nutritious food. We also have highchairs and a microwave where customers are welcome to heat milk and baby food for those little ones who are not quite old enough to enjoy our culinary delights just yet!
Summer Drinks for Sunny Days
Well, the summer seems to be on its way (fingers crossed!). Why not come down and enjoy one of our summer drinks on our pavement cafe. Our Thick American Style Milkshakes are always popular this time of year, along with our Espresso Frappe for a milkshake with a caffeine kick! Added to our range especially for those sunny days is our Iced Tea; pure refreshment. However, remembering this is Newcastle, we have also added some drinks for the not so sunny day! Enjoy our new Maple Cappuccino or maybe our Chai Latte for an aromatically spiced drink for warming the body and soul. We look forward to seeing you soon!
