Café bar One is a thriving local café in the Cradlewell area of Jesmond. The café offers a range of choice when it comes to food and drink. From hearty homemade savoury items such as sandwiches, pies, quiche, soup and meat and fish specials to sweet delights like pecan pie, chocolate fudge cake, cheese cake and Belgian waffles. These can be accompanied with a range of coffees and refreshing drinks.

That’s breakfast, brunch, lunch and coffee taken care of!

Three words sum up our food; quality, homemade and local. This is what we pride ourselves on. Our region has a rich supply of produce and we like to use local farmers, butchers, bakers and dairies as much as we can.

traditional & contemporary

The theme of our food is a mix of traditional and contemporary. We are proud of the hearty northern fayre that Northumberland is famed for; whilst at the same time providing cooking dishes from places as diverse as Portugal, Morocco, Indonesia and Italy.
